Trinity Lutheran Preschool

We believe it is the responsibility and privilege of Trinity Lutheran Church to provide an educational program which will guide the youth of this church and community to grow spiritually, physically, intellectually, morally, and emotionally; so that they may live fully and happily as young people and that they may become adult citizens well equipped to fulfill their roles in the church, the home, and the community.

What makes us unique?

Trinity Lutheran Preschool prides itself in being an alternative to other early education centers. We provide a Christian atmosphere and context for children to learn and prepare for kindergarten. We offer plenty of opportunities for parents to participate with their children throughout the year from class parties to the children sharing their gifts of music and memory work with the congregation thus building confidence in themselves and their abilities. Our small class sizes (max class size is 12 children) allow for special attention to be given to each child by our professionally trained and qualified teachers.

Objectives of the Preschool

  1. To teach about God's great love for human beings and to teach that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who gave His life for the redemption of sinners.
  2. To help the child grow spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally.
  3. To develop the abilities which God has given to each student.
  4. To prepare the child for kindergarten through a "readiness" program in curricular areas.

Methods include stories, pictures, field trips, hands-on activities, songs, and play-based learning. Instruction will take place in whole group, small group, and one-on-one settings. Children are also given adequate time to develop socially through play.
